Psychrament Opens Its Doors

Welcome, dear traveler.

The path has found you.

Beyond the forest edge, where the stars hang low and the earth hums with ancient songs, awaits a world eager to show you its wonders. You are not a stranger here. You’ve always belonged. The trees will greet you as an old friend, and the rivers will share their secrets if you listen closely enough. This journey is yours alone, yet you will never walk it without companions—be they curious creatures, the laughter of the breeze, or the quiet wisdom of the moon.

Please come in and make yourself at home. We’re delighted you are here. Let us begin to imagine a story together….

Once upon a time, in a land woven from whispers of dreams and stardust, there lay a forest unlike any other. Its trees towered high, their leaves shimmering like silver, while the air sparkled with the scent of forgotten wishes. Hidden among the ancient oaks, in the softest glade where moonbeams danced even by day, was a world of magic and mystery—where creatures spoke in riddles and rivers sang lullabies to the stars. Here, in this enchanted realm, began the tale of a heart that longed to wander, to discover, and to be forever changed. You’ve always known this realm, felt its gentle pull, though perhaps it was hidden just beyond the corners of your sight. But now, it calls to you more clearly—an invitation whispered on the wind, carried through the rustle of leaves, and echoed in the stillness of your heart.

May this be the beginning of your journey. We invite you inward, to unburden your heart, and allow the enchantment to unfold.

We are Psychrament - a Nature-Connected, Sacred Earth Medicine-focused Spiritual Community. If any part of this path calls to you, please come on in. You are welcome.

I was roughly 13 years old when I discovered the Neo-Pagan and Wiccan perspectives connected to my Northern European blood lines. I was not told of them, but instead was drawn like a magnet to a small section of books located in the far back corner of one of the many eclectic bookshops my mother enjoyed visiting. It was the 80’s, and my mother was soaking up as much as she could of the philosophies and spiritualities migrating like murmurations from East to West, across the earth at that time. And, maybe because of those early exposures I received, my mind lit up as I cracked open books depicting images of circular seasonal celebrations that had less to do with deities and more to do with the seemingly ancient ways we have related to and moved about this Earth home of ours. The Pagan Wheel of the Year spoke to me of death and birth cycles, fertility, sensuality, abundance, harvest, celebration, community, mindfulness, embodiment, joy, hunger, grief, hibernation and transformation through personal sovereignty. It was a living spiral. It forever changed my vision of the passage of time from a line to a circle. I’ve lived comfortably within the paradigm of circles, spirals and cycles ever since. In my young adulthood, I studied with indigenous North American teachers and was initiated into a Lakota-based form of Shamanism. Now in my middle years, carrying the influences of many culture’s ritual and ceremonial practices, I have returned to a devoted study of Buddhism. Nonetheless, the cyclical and spiral-like nature of life continues to emerge for me on every level - in my daily rituals, in the turning of the seasons, and across a half century of this lifetime now lived. I sit in awe and wonder of inter-emerging nature of it all, and the many ways we are connected to the Earth and to Spirit through embodied consciousness. All of this (and more), courses through the foundational roots of Psychrament.

As we arrive (in the Northern Hemisphere) at the threshold of the Winter Solstice, I am honored to share the birth of Psychrament,  an organization rooted in seasonal wisdom, conscious awareness, and reverence for the cycles that shape all life. It feels fitting that this offering arrives in the darkest part of the year — a time when the Earth rests, dreams, and prepares. Just as the Solstice marks the moment when light begins its quiet return, Psychrament gently opens its doors, not with great fanfare, but in alignment with the quiet stillness of this season, as it turns with such ease towards the healing warmth of life. I see Psychrament as a place where individuals can root into their own deep knowing, honor what has completed, and gently awaken the next chapter of their becoming.

As life emerges with the coming season, so too will Psychrament’s offerings and classes. We encourage you to check future editions of our newsletter, as well as our website, for updates and announcements. Today, we open with my writing and sharing, with the introduction of our core team, and the many offerings of our Cann@bis High Priestess, Amy Olson.

We are excited to share so much more with you soon!
