Jennifer’s Story

From as early as age three, I would wander off in the house after telling my mother “I’m going to talk to God now.” Crawling into my sanctuary of choice, the far darkest corner of my parents’ closet, a bright blue orb of light met me every time with a love so pure that I felt wholly held and at home. As the years unfolded and adulthood brought its mix of wounds, trauma, and confusion, that early sense of belonging grew faint, buried beneath everything I didn’t yet know how to carry. Through practices of embodiment, tuning into the natural rhythms of the Earth, and the experiences of sacred earth medicine ceremonies, I slowly found my way back—back to my own authentic self, back into connection with others, and back into the deep belonging that has always lived within this beautiful earth. And from that return, Psychrament was born - a gathering place where healing, community, and earth-honoring connection invite each person back to their own belonging.

  • Born to a scientist and an educator, I was driven by curiosity, a passion for learning and, ultimately, a desire to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be human. I pursued a Bachelor's in English Literature at the University of Maryland, because stories were one of the ways I made sense of the world. I realized I was drawn to making a difference and after college my focus narrowed and I began my lifelong passion for causing the transformation of individuals and organizations.

I went on to help build a transformative boutique consulting firm that trained thousands of nonprofits to raise millions of dollars directly supporting the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the world.  After two decades of pouring my heart and soul into that organization in 2017, the death of my mother served as the powerful catalyst that launched me into the second chapter of my life and ultimately led me on my path to Psychrament.

The last seven years have been deeply influenced by my growing curiosity and evolving passion for all things death, dying, and grief related, the healing power of music, the role of Spirit/Soul/Self, the use of ritual, and psychedelic plant medicine as an agent for personal growth. I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington School of Social Work. I have specialized training in end of life care as a hospice volunteer and Carol LaMare Hospice, Palliative Care and Oncology Fellow. I have also worked in a variety of clinical settings as a Medical Social Worker. I have been practicing mindfulness-based meditation for over a decade and I have engaged in Buddhist/Vipassana practice since 2019.

  • I believe we are entering a new era, as change is now demanded from systems which no longer serve the whole. More humans are realizing our true alignment is with Nature, our Gaian channel for All That Is. As we learn from and co-create with Nature, this beautiful dance is evolving, where all have an important part in weaving the tapestry of the world we know is possible.

I’m excited about the timing of the science of neuroplasticity, ‘proving’ the truth I’ve learned from my years of experience with Nature Spirits and plant Medicine: that as we focus, our reality changes. I feel the gifts of these Medicines, along with teachings from many sources, are helping us grow our understanding, and claim our personal and collective sovereignty, including our own healing. Right relationship with ourselves; right relationship with Nature.

I deeply appreciate how plant Medicines provide me an eagle-eye view, help me unravel and process my experience, have facilitated my most deep understanding, opened my heart connection with Nature and her beings. I am grateful for how these Medicines have helped me come back into my body from a lifetime of disconnect.  I love the movement cann@medicine provides me, and look forward to sharing that.

I am a Master’s level Clinical Social Worker, blessed by working with people for the past forty years in a variety of contexts; the last twenty years in the medical and healing community. I now enjoy working privately to pass on the Wisdom I have been given: to encourage curiosity beyond the pathways our brains hold us to, to open to ‘and what else’? I strive to enable people to explore their own body and heart wisdom, what one needs and wants for their life, and how to make that real. I have training, and experience working with health issues, aging and life transition, end of life, grief, dementia, addiction, anxiety/depression, trauma, self care and spiritual homelessness. I use a variety of modalities, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a protocol to address painful memories, elements of Internal Family systems, mindfulness, somatic work, insight, relational therapies, and spiritual exploration. I offer psychedelic education and support, as I have come to know these Medicines are potentially powerful catalysts for change, given appropriate context and integration.

I am proud and excited to be a part of Psychrament; to work in that nexus of Nature and Spirit. I believe Nature is a source of our well-being. She is the physical, spiritual, and moral compass needed for these times.

Life as a Human, at this time, is an extraordinary opportunity. I would be honored to explore it with you.

  • Founder of Psychrament and Gaiaentheos Coaching & Education

Psychrament is my dream come true. A space created from the heart of my vision for the Earth and humanity. It is the natural expression of the confluence of four streams of passion and experience over the course of my life - Psychology, Horticulture, Spirituality and Psychedelics. My own healing journey included chronic anxiety, multigenerational depression and self-medicating through addictions, a chronic state of dissociation, and ultimately a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - which I was told was incurable and would greatly impair my life. Leaning into the cycle of my own Hero’s Journey, I found healing, vitality and renewed joy in the awe and wonder of life through a wide variety of resources with one unifying theme: safely re-connecting to Myself (my True/ Divine Self) through my relationship with Earth and Spirit.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston. I was initiated as a Shamanic Practitioner through Sundust Oracle Institute and my time as a student of Char Sundust. I am a Pagan High Priestess and a student of Druidic practices, rooted in the combination of my Celtic and Germanic Pagan Ancestry. I am a Horticulturalist who ran her own Wildlife Habitat-focus Landscape Gardening Business for 14 years, and now work almost exclusively with Sacred Earth Medicines. I am a Psychedelic Integration Coach (through Being True to You), a Cann@bis Health & Wellness Coach (through the Cann@bis Coaching Institute) and a Microdosing Facilitator (through the Microdosing Institute, where I currently serve as the Lead Facilitator). I founded Gaiaentheos in 2020 as the first expression of my personal work in the psychedelic field with others. All of my experience has been gently held and guided by a lifelong (perhaps over multiple life times) interwoven relationship with Buddhism, which was further consecrated when I officially took refuge during the time of the full moon of May 2024 at Vesak. I actively study and practice both the Theravada and the Mahayana lineages.

  • My early life was shaped by the nurturing guidance of my adoptive parents and beloved grandmother, Margaret. I was raised by educators, peacemakers, and activists; defined by their belief in justice & equality. From an early age I was surrounded by books, wisdom, and conversations that valued understanding over judgment. I was blessed to have many opportunities to travel overseas with them to experience and explore the world. Yet even in this warm supportive environment, I struggled with a deep, abiding feeling of anxiety and depression that was multiplied exponentially when my brother, Jamie, took his own life. His death shattered my world and left a gaping wound that I must tend to this day.

Thankfully, I found a sanctuary in the theater. The stage offered an escape, a space where I could transform my pain into art, speak through characters, and channel the chaos inside into something beautiful. I pursued this art form through high school, into college, and eventually grad school, where I obtained my MFA in Theatre Arts. Yet even with this outlet, the shadows of grief loomed. Throughout this time, in my search for peace of mind, I discovered the grounding embrace of cann@bis. What began as a means of self-medicating evolved into something deeper: an exploration into the healing potential of plant medicine.

I spent decades discovering the benefits of cann@bis and other plant medicines, and with each new insight, I felt a calling—to share this knowledge, to guide others out of the darkness as I had once longed for someone to guide me. In 2021, I joined the Cann@bis Coaching Institute and became certified as a Cann@bis Health and Wellness Coach. I am committed to empowering others on their healing journeys. My practice is infused with empathy, a deep respect for the power of plant medicine, and a heartfelt desire to transform lives.

I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude to be able to do this work, and I welcome you to this space.

  • I am a modern day medicine woman and a psychotherapist who walks between the worlds of cutting-edge neuropsychology and ancient healing traditions. My “imaginary friends” when I was a young girl taught me to listen to spirits and believe in magic. That curiosity led me to begin my studies into the realms of energy and consciousness. My path unfolded as I studied, and practiced, past life therapy, spiritual hypnotherapy, reiki, shamanic energy healing, entity release, and ancestral healing. To ground my work in a traditional framework, I earned a master’s degree in counseling and became a licensed mental health counselor. Recognizing the need for deeper healing and transformation, I now incorporate psychedelic medicine into my practice. This beautiful and ancient medicine creates sacred and transformative spaces for myself and my clients to explore our inner landscapes, release old wounds, and reconnect with our authentic selves.

Being a part of Psychrament allows me to connect with others who share my visions and intentions for deep healing. My outward journey has led me from the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay to the raw wildness of the Pacific Northwest. This is where I am now deeply rooted in Mother Earth’s sacred rhythms, and I can embrace my wild, witchy soul that is profoundly connected to the cycles of nature, the divine feminine, and the interconnectedness of all life. • Hello. My name is Jaelyn.  As I move through different phases of my life, I ask myself several questions: Who am I now? What do I have to offer? What do I have to learn? How do I stay interested and engaged (as well as interesting and engaging) as I learn, grow and change? These questions led me to study many different modalities including Family Systems Theory, Somatic Experiencing™ , Feminine Leadership and the polyvagal theory.

A few years ago, my ongoing curiosity drew me deeper in a different way. I had been reading about the possibility of gaining clarity, healing and connection through the use of psychedelics.  I began to study on my own, having my own experiences. I microdosed, journeyed on my own, journeyed with a facilitator and participated in group journeys using a sacred earth medicine. In addition to finding answers to my ongoing personal queries, I have found greater depth of connection, healing and wholeness.

I began to study the forest floor allies formally so that I could support others in their search for healing. After completing my formal studies, I now provide microdosing and journey support as well as lead integration retreats. I love assisting others who are on a quest for understanding. The thing I find most intriguing and most important, is not the journey itself, but the way we integrate that which we learn, into our everyday lives. I am continuously blown away by the richness of these experiences, the subtle and the profound ways this medicine weaves its’ magic into our lives in an ongoing way.
